Epilepsy Awareness & Skills Management Training
We have had an opportunity to be part of the government medical camp. We served on the platform of disability as the epilepsy awareness representative. Our goal was to reach communities to teach the community about epilepsy and demystify the information about epilepsy that is causing stigma.
We have had sessions with our subcounty government doctors and healthcare givers to share with the information about epilepsy, mental health, self-management skills, diagnosis and how they can be of help setting up policies to help the people living with epilepsy live normal lives.
